What changed in GridCraft v0.8.0
- The formula parser enforces Excel's 8,192-character limit with postfix nesting, so deep formulas no longer crash the app.
- Clearing a large range recalculates every cell that changed.
- Enter in the AutoFilter menu applies the filter and closes the menu.

Source, licence and building

Will my Excel macros work?
No. Budget for rewriting VBA automation as external scripts, or keep those workbooks on Excel until the rewrite is done.
How big can a workbook get?
Upstream positions GridCraft for very large sheets; benchmark it with your own file rather than any advertised figure.
Can I exchange files with Excel users?
That is the point of native .xlsx support — test your most complex workbook first, since conditional formatting and chart types are where drift shows up.
